hi

I'm supposed to be packing and getting ready for Vegas, but I am posting to my blogs instead!
Here's a new layout. Plus I posted four more on the Techneeks Blog.
Enjoy...and I'll see you back here next week.

Winner!

I guess I have to pick a winner...but really you are all winners in my books!

Nadine Karen said...
I like prizes and I love surprises. Not to mention I love mail that I don't have to give money for. {XO}Happy Birthday Lucas!

So Nadine gets the Grand Prize...this week!

**********

Vegas this weekend, yay me. We leave Sunday and come back Wednesday. Nothing special planned, just walking and sightseeing and what not. They don't have antique malls on the strip, or flea markets, or farmer's markets, or craft shows. And that's what I like. It will be neat to see the new(er) hotels and just hang out with Russel and his friends. And it will be super nice to get away from work and home! Am not looking forward to packing. Not at all.

**********

I didn't do up a technique last night...oops! I will have to get something together in my brain for this week, and do up a couple so I don't miss next week too!

**********

Am going to post my classes once I'm done here. Check out: tmclasses.blogspot.com. Some fun ones, I hope...I'll keep my fingers crossed for loads of interest! I have been holding off posting them, because I am never sure of what dates are best, plus I don't have pictures or prices firmed up. But I'll post and see what happens!

**********

i'm trying out some new things for the blog again. I am actually thinking of a name change. I did a little doodle to accompany it, and am now wondering how I can incorporate that into my header and sidebar titles and what not. need to do some more looking into things and then I'll implement some changes fo' real. Shabby Blogs has some new headers that are pretty rad (see above) and as always they are FREE!

**********

Am very bored at work today. not much to do, not that I wanted to do at least! Creperie for dinner with the in-laws tonight. Playschool Open House tomorrow night. Nothing on Thursday...at least not that I know of. Maybe I'll try to make it to the crop on Friday night, if Russel doesn't feel too neglected! Saturday, nothing special going on. Then Sunday we leave.

To do this week: post pictures of latest projects, send prize to Nadine, work on Technique post, eat hummus (it is so good, but SO garlicky!), "tape" SYTYCD Canada, download some rad fonts and make a new header for the blog.

I am the girl of 100 lists...

what shall I wear, who I have kissed." -the Go Go's

Things on my mind today:
#1. I totally forgot to do a Techneek post this weekend. Oh my!
#2. I totally forgot to draw a name from the meagre comments I got last week and announce the winner of my unspecified blog prize. (see below)
#3. Lucas got a bunch of plastic crap...I mean toys for his birthday. Now starts the never-ending task of finding them a permanent home in my home.
#4. Am having people over to my house tonight and am only slightly in a panic. Progress!
#5. Am sad that my summer is almost over and all the plans I had kind-of-sort-of made did not happen.

To do list...FALL...
#1. Have a John Hughes movie marathon with some friends. Did you know that he passed away at the beginning of the month?
#2. Go to the DaVinci exhibit at Telus World of Science before it's gone.
#3. As many game nights as possible. It makes Russ sad that he doesn't have his friends come over more, and it makes him happy to play Catan. A happy Russel makes a happy Lisa!!
#4. Eat my weight in homemade Hummus!
#5. Find some fancy striped leggings and wear them with everything!

Webbering today:
#1.Darling Dexter...super cute fashion and photography.
#2. Old Sweet Song...nostalgia and wonderfulness
#3. This lady was pen pals with John Hughes back in the 80s! WOW! This post is a must-read.

Top John Hughes Favourites:
#1. Breakfast Club
#2. Pretty in Pink
#3. Sixteen Candles
#4. Weird Science (the hottie is named Lisa! that never happens!!)
#5. Ferris Bueller's Day Off
#6. Planes Trains & Automobiles
#7. Some Kind of Wonderful
#8. National Lampoon's Vacation (the one to Wally World!)
#9. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
#10. Uncle Buck

***got booted from my desk so I'm not getting a chance to really finish this post. so i'll head home and see y'all tomorrow...and I will post the "winner" of my blog contest and maybe some pictures of some of my latest projects***

well laid plans

I finally managed to convince Lucas to come to IKEA with me (promises of hot dogs and "ice cream") and the ONE THING that I went there for, isn't there.

Now, I started up the laptop to print some pictures, but they are in Russel's profile, which I don't have the password for.

And I was going to post a picture here, but now I just don't feel like it so I think I'm going to go and do some dishes before Russ gets home.

We are going to the Mill Woods Farmer's Market tonight...anyone is welcome to join us.

Also, I'm drawing the name for the winner of a sweet prize tomorrow. So LEAVE A COMMENT why-dontcha? Chantel & KC have seen the "secret addition" and boy is it sweet! I'll try and post a pic tonight...if I'm in a better mood.

SCAM!

Got a pop up...totally a "money making" SCAM...so I read some super funny comments about it and others like it, and noticed an ad in the sidebar. A website that will give you someone's ADDRESS and location just from their email address! Wow! Scary! So I thought I would try it out.

But I'm not too worried...they think I'm in Mountain View, CA becuase that's where Google is (the whole "gmail" thing threw them off). But then guess what...they want me to buy a membership to their site so I can look up all the emails I want! So funny!!

am off soon...get well Kara! Friday just won't be the same without you!

oh so quiet until....

World Wide Webbering

Some of the layouts in this gallery are pretty nice...and some are just pretty. And the kit's not too shabby either.

Elaine's Stuff always makes me happy, but this is just ridiculous!

More Mad Men inspiration for you.
Don't you just love vintage stuff...the colours, the lines, the patterns!

A mini album tutorial that is quite in depth and wonderful.

**************
Crafts Finished:

#1. My non-quilt bag
#2. TWO Headbands

Crafts Started:
#1. Monogrammed Altered Bag

Crafts Planned:
#1. More Headbands
#2. More Hair-Flowers
#3. More altered bags
#4. Name tags/badges
#5. Little notebooks (like before)
#6. A FriendShip book...but not lame like it sounds...I might be asking for pics soon!
But I actually just had a better idea, so never mind about the pics!
#7. Make a mini calendar, because as much as I love the one on my iPod,
I'm still so much a touch-paper kind of girl. The one on this page is my starting point.
#8. Some fun embroidery with some new patterns I got

I moved a cork board into my room that is now displaying all of my headbands and hair pieces. It is so wonderful that they are not all in a pile in my dresser anymore.
And while Russ hates me putting more holes in our walls, I know he hates me leaving stuff all over the place even more!

I got some fun mail yesterday...and I took pictures of it, so I will wait to share!
And my contest still stands...and you will probably get some of my fun mail in your
fun mail prize
and once you find out what my fun mail was, you will surely want some of your own!!
So LEAVE A COMMENT!!!
I will draw a name on Friday...

So tonight we are going out for dinner for Lucas' birthday. I told him he could pick any place he wanted. And to think about it a bit, about his favourite place to sit down and eat. He didn't even waste a second before he said: "Boston Pizza"...
but it was either that, DQ or "Sushi" so I wasn't terribly surprised.
We are going to make a stop at Toys R Us before dinner so he can pick out a special toy.
We are such slacker parents...I mean I am such a slacker Momma...props to Russ who is so much better with birthdays than I am!!
No party, no big hoopla, just dinner and one toy
(plus a Cars Wii game, because as I mentioned earlier, Russ rocks!)
He is going to an indoor playground today with Grandma and my cousin's little girl who is about the same age as him, and whom he loves dearly! He asks about her all the time...wanting her to come over to play with his toys.

I am currently looking for:
- a floor lamp to put beside my couch so I have more light when I am stitching, even though Russ doesn't think I have enough room to put a lamp there.
- a bigger basket to put all my Wii stuff in (I got the new IKEA catalogue...swoon...and I think I found a nice one in there, but I need to get some measurements first)
- an IN/OUT tray like this one, or maybe these wooden ones, or this red one, even though it's not precisely what I want, it's just so pretty!
And then there's this box which just might do the trick!

the birth-day

At this point in my day four years ago, I was getting ready to go get Lucas out of my belly. It seems to me my C-section was scheduled for 1pm, but I was supposed to be there early. NO eating before hand (I was super starving by the end of the day) and no jewellry or makeup, so I looked really awesome. I didn't actually get to "have" him until 4:54 because I kept getting bumped for emergencies. But he was happy to stay inside...the Doc had to suction him out so he had a lovely giant bump on his head for a year or so. But he was adorable right from the start (and big!) and even though the first moment I saw him (after they got all the goo off, and I finished barfing) I was so in love, I love him more now!

Happy Birthday Sweet Baby...Momma loves you!

Today is...sorry, what ???

Is today Wednesday? Or a do-over of Monday. I just can't tell.

Today on the Internet...

May stop here later, but where-oh-where is the contact information? Am I a total doofus?

My Etsy shopping moment number one...and number two

The little binder she did up with her engagement photos is so perfect! Ummm...this is possibly the coolest thing ever, or at least in a really long time

This shop has some cool little notebooks etc. in it, and her blog is fun too (plus she likes Vampires!)

Potential Project post...or something like it.

**************

I think I'm going to take an "Art Journal" type online class. I actually love the way I do my art journal, and don't really need help for ideas, or getting started or anything...but I would like to learn some new stuff that I could potentially teach others. And having someone teach me first would take a lot of pressure off of me! Plus then I can get some helpful tips on how other people teach an art journal class, and use them in my class (whenever that eventually happens...if at all...)

Some options:
Elise
Veronica
Dina #1, Dina #2, Dina #3

Have I mentioned that Lucas turns FOUR tomorrow. I am in shock. Literally. I can't even believe it...and playschool starts in September, and then it's Kindergarten next year and before you know it he's going to want to borrow the car and stay out late...ACK! I'm trying not to think about it too much...I am already losing my mind thank you very much.

Hey Peeps...If you made it this far in the post, you could win a prize! Just leave a comment below telling me which webbering in the links above was your favourite today. I will draw a name and send some fun mail. Please make sure your email address is in the post or your profile so I can contact you for your actual address and send your package out.

Today I love...

Tree Coaster (I am going to see if I can make my own!)

This site is so awesome and always gives me some great ideas and inspiration. Now, if only I could get a subscription to their magazine...

Clever Nesting is a blog I found through a path I will never again be able to replicate...so I need to take a note! Lots of super cool re-purposing and recycling going on here. Woot!

Ikea Hacker...how sweet an idea! Take fabby cheap IKEA stuff and make it into something else! Genius!

Recycle This (can you see a trend developing here...?)

How to Recycle or Reuse Anything from Real Simple...isn't that a Martha brand? Anyhoo...this isn't the best article, especially for use Canuckers who have different recycling infrastructure, but it's interesting to read at an rate.

Let's Search for "Green Couch"...Kelly Rae's (I heart her so much, and this just adds esteem in my eyes!)

Green Plastic Couch too fake for my tastes (in fact I think it is fake...)

This chair is made out of grass...

Eco-Green This couch is green in colour and green for the environment too! Double whammy...
I finished my non-quilt bag. And I was reading something that gave me some "tips" for the next project I attempt. First off, I'm using the wrong thread (oh well...). I've got a bunch of ideas to try out...my cast offs may become fun mail! How wonderful!
Made a lovely headband out of felt ric rac (a freebie from Anam's stash), some Making Memories ribbon (that actually says Making Memories along one side...I think it was wrapped around those Slice Aprons that the store got in...) plus one little yellow button for good measure. It is so wonderful! And it's buddies are totally going to make it into a fun-mailout in the fall!

I put up a new Technique on the weekend...but I have yet to print the pictures, so I haven't posted the completed page as of yet.

I was very tempted to buy a bunch of the Little Yellow Bicycle new stuff on Friday (I mean My Little Shoebox...I DID IT AGAIN! I was calling it LYB all night! Ack!)
But I settled for some mini letter stickers (yellow & grey) and some of their pattern paper because the backs are rad ledger pattern. I also (finally) bought the Hambly Elegant Labels I have been drooling over for always...aren't they the prettiest

Everytime I go into the store, I pick them up and walk around with them. And then I put them back. But now they're mine! And I got the last one in stock!
I am trying to plan the following things this week:
#1: What to do in Vegas (wander, drink, shop...what else is there?)
#2: Lucas is turning FOUR on Wednesday and I am freaking out!
#3: Board game night with my buddy Ryan
#4: My birthday in September...must be a big hoopla!
This is the funniest thing I've seen on the Internet in a long time... give yourself about 5 minutes to make it through.
I don't think there's any sound, just lots of reading so you can watch it at work.
So funny...so so so funny!

okay...how about that's it for today.
I have lots more to say, but I'll save it for tomorrow...
hoping to get some more crafty stuff done tonight, along with grocery shopping...
we are in desperate need of green things in our house.
I miss one week of the Farmer's Market and it all falls apart!

Show & Tell

Some things that make me happy today...

All the new Jenni Bowlin stuff I bought at TM the other day...I had trouble containing myself.
And yes I bought one of each colour of the little notebooks.
A little doodle I did.
It's supposed to be a love bird coming home to it's cage...I just need to add the other bird.

This is where I hang all the cute cards I get in the mail.
Thankfully you can't see all the dust on my mantle in this picture!
I bought the "garland" at Dansk on sale, then used thumbtacks to attach it to the mantle.

My new bookshelves. They are filling up quickly. Mostly with IKEA storage stuff.
And an Orla Kiely bowl I bought at Target in Dallas.
And all our Wii controllers (well, not all of them!)

Some fun mail I got from K.C. Mother Mother's first album, on vinyl!
Too bad I can't listen to it.

One of my rad purchases from Value Village the other day.
The glass is broken on the one side, but I'm going to probably take the glass out anyways.
The wood grain and the shape itself are what makes it so awesome!
I have some old pics to put in it...I just have to find them!

Some original fridge poetry.
The set I have is missing some important words,
so I might have to see about getting an add-on kit or something.

My clean fridge. Wow! I even have a plan for the reject magnets!

Am at home today with Lucas. I don't really feel like doing anything today, and the weather matches my mood...cold and yucky. What a Boring Day. Maybe I'll see if Lucas wants to watch a movie with some popcorn and I'll read some of my book. Sounds like a plan.

I just made a boo boo. Am very mad at myself. Now I really deserve a Starbucks (before it was just going to be a nice treat). Dang it dang it dang it. Oh well. No use crying over it. What's done is done, now I just need to fix it. Shazzam!

************
I worked some more on my non-quilted bag last night. It looks uber cool! I had to go to Michael's to pick up some more brown thread and they had lots of stuff on sale so it was hard for me not to buy anything else, but I didn't! Yay me! I did get a 40% off coupon on my receipt and I've been eyeing watercolour pencils for a long time. So I am going to go back this week and pick up the cheapest pack I can find.

************
There is a jar of pickles sitting on my desk. Randomness. A lady at work makes them in giant batches, then shares with all us lucky girls in the office! And Dianne didn't want hers, so now I have two jars of delicious home made pickles to take home with me tonight.

************
Didn't get Lucas on the bike last night. He just wanted to play playdoh. So Russ helped him out while I ran my "errand". And then we had some ice cream. Lucas picked the most expensive in the shop I think: Oreo-nummers. And it is so good. So so so so good. But very bad for you! Very!

***********
Only got to watch about 10 minutes of Torchwood last night while Russ made dinner (can I get a "hell ya!"). So tonight I will have THREE episodes to watch. I bought a Torchwood novel so I can enjoy them at work as well. I am such a loser. I also bought the first book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. It looks very delicious. And I found a fellow Twilight hater: Mr. Hugh Mernickle, of the Chantel Mernickles, shares my confusion in the popularity of the worst written books I have ever read. I can hear the hate mail coming already!

**********
Is it time to go home yet? I am already breaking in to the chocolate stash. Oh my. It's only 12:28pm. This can't be good.

**********
It's raining right now...at least it was this morning when I was driving to work. I like the rain...I only wish it would rain a little more. Maybe not this much though...

***********

I have been abandoned up front for the lunching hour. That's okay. I have to wait to go to Starbucks anyway so I miss the big lunch lines. Not that it isn't lined up all the time anyways.

**********

I am thinking of starting up my challenge kits again. If you would like to be on the list to get the first kit, drop me a line! Make sure you include your mailing address if I don't already have it. This is open to any and all who read my blog, even if I don't actually know you by name or face because you are a silent stalker!! Here are the details:

- Once a month I will put together a eensy weensy "kit" with paper, embellies, found items, etc. that all sort of match. Nothing too fancy here, just extras from my stash.

- Accompanying the kit will be a challenge of sorts. Like, use something red, or play with paint, or something equally simple and lovely!

- I accept any and all donations to my kits. If you are cleaning out your craft room and find a pile of old Bo Bunny stickers please god throw them out! But if you find something useable (like tags or brads or paper) and it is in multiples (I'm talking 10+ of the same type item) please think of me! You might get that thing back eventually, but it will be paired with some super cool stuff for you to play with.

- You will have a month to complete it, but I'm not a stickler for deadlines! If you send me a picture of your project, or post it on your blog, I will post them all here. It's always fun to see what different people do with the same product.

- There isn't a separate reward or RAK for each month's "winner". The kit is the RAK and everybody is a winner! But remember that I have been known to send random fun mail, and if I have your address the likelihood of you getting fun mail increases. Hint Hint!

The first challenge kit will be sent in September, let's say the second week. Please get me your name and address before then if you would like to play along! I will post a sneak peek of the kit contents at the end of the month so you at least have an idea of what you're getting into! I hope to see you all playing along!

Check out this old post for an old example of a challenge kit. And, just so you know, I never did find the picture I wanted to put in that first layout. Oh my!

*********
So it's totally not raining anymore. It is warm and sunny and bright. And I am the moron who carried my umbrella all the way to Starbucks and back, just in case! Oh my! There is something unknown in my soup. It's been in the freezer for awhile so I can't remember what all I put in it...it was my "empty my freezer" soup. It tastes very tasty, but I am perplexed!

*********
I have been slacking off here. I might have to attend my first ever staff meeting today. No one has ever required it of me...until now??? Must ask if my attendance is deemed necesary. Meh I'll just go. Solidarity and what not. Plus, as Kara says, at least I'm getting paid for it.

*********
Ok. Done for the day. I've been trying to find some other pictures to post just for some reading relief, but I'm just not in the mood to search too deeply. hmmm.
I was going through some of my old posts and there have been a lot of things I have set myself up to do, but haven't followed through on.
It's terrible to see goals unanswered.
And so much for my word of the year. I'm going to devise a new word for the fall, to tide me over until my New Year begins anew and ...
Interlude...how come I didn't get invited to my brother's going away BBQ tonight? oh...that's why.
...I can pick a brand new word.

shiny happy people

This post totally reminds me of me. It can be so difficult to be a "good" blogger and be original and wonderful when there is so much other talent out there. I think Marta's idea of challenging herself to only blog originally for a whole week is GREAT! And I accept (not that the challenge was directed to me or anything, but I am taking it to heart!).

Last night I started on a new fabby project. I am fake-quilting some fabric squares onto a canvas bag. So far I have three squares stitched on and I am so in heaven you have no idea! It is so exciting to try something new and not be too worked up about it. This is my first attempt at fake-quilting so anything I accomplish will be awesome and I will be so proud of myself if I see this project through to the end. I am calling it fake-quilting because I have no idea what actual quilting involves and I wouldn't want to debase the real-quilting that more talented ladies than I do by putting myself in their *blank* (can't think of the word...I want to say shoes, but that's not it. umm realm maybe, or perhaps hemisphere. nope not it either. oh well. I guess those brain cells are lost.)

I went for a lovely long leisurely bike ride on Saturday. It was so nice to be out and about in the warm sun, just me and my bike! Except coming home the wind was in my face and I was already super tired and it was almost too much. But I made it home! I can't wait to go out again. Maybe I'll get Lucas on his wheels this week and we can go for a bike-walk together!

Russ made dinner last night. He checked websites and made a meal plan for the whole week, and we went grocery shopping and he cooked the most succulent BBQ chicken I have ever eaten in my whole life. He made his little list on his iPod, and I asked him if there was an app for that (that's pretty much a running joke in our house...he has a lot of apps!) and there totally is!! Tee Hee!

Today I am excited about: chalkboards (and I know I wrote that I wanted to be an original blogger today, and I sort of am, because I don't have any pictures to post but these guys do and this is what is inspiring me this week so there!)

Maybe I will get mine painted this week. Here's hoping against hope.

Miracle of Miracles. I cleaned off my fridge yesterday.
I took off all the magnets (all 137 of them...yeah that's not an exact tally, but it's probably close) actually wiped the front of all the sticky Lucas fingerprints
put back only the magnets I really like and want to look at
and applied my brand-new-to-me magnetic poetry set!
it looks so good in its new home

i guess im done for the day.will go home and work some more on my non-quilt bag
and maybe get Lucas on his bike for a bit
and hopefully there will an episode of Torchwood waiting for me on my box
(it doesn't play on the weekend so i am a little sad and missing it a little too much...did I mention it costs an arm and a leg to buy on BluRay? Good thing my bestest best friend KC hooked me up with some online Torchwood action! Boo Yaa!)
k. now im gone for good, at least until im back!

as promised

it's late, but I had a long nap earlier so now I can't sleep (russ is saying i told you so...) so I'm posting now and watching SYTYCD from this week.

i'll have to post pics of my Value Village finds later, maybe tomorrow (on my day off!!!!). I actually have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. I have a giant pile of dishes to do, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger so I better do something about it soon.

but here's what I was up to the other night...lovely mess making.

i used some old grunge board and heidi swapp alpha sheets as masks. and they are so super!

I also cut some masks from old dental charting. just simple trees and stars. and after I used them as masks I used them again on some pages.

have you ever notived how many stupid commercials there are in SYTYCD? They do one dance, talk to the judges, then have a commercial break! Argh! It is kind of driving me crazy. No wonder the show is two hours long.
i forgot to mention in my last post...THANKS NADINE for the totally rad card! I LOVE FUN MAIL DAYS!!

Friday, August 07, 2009

thanks Lindsay!

I love fun mail!! The monkey purse is so sweet, and Ièm so proud of how you reused the file folder in your fun mail!! And why is mu picture crookedÉ WHY WHY WHYÉÉÉ And why is the french keyboard onÉ Stupid!É!É!É!É
Spent a bunch of money at Value Village today. They are all fabulous purchases, but my faves are the photo album with someone elseès pictures still inside, magnetic poetry book, plaid dress, and rad wooden picture frame. Ièll take some pics tonight and post. And I did promise my art journal pages too, so, yeh.
Also, new technique is up...
later

don't even read this...it is so boring and you will fall asleep at your desk and embarass yourself in front of your coworkers...

For a good laugh today, try reading some of the "scrapbooking tips" here. Laugh riot I tell ya! Although some of them might be helpful in the Beginner's Series of classes that I'm planning right now for the store. I finally got a little more organized yesterday and started putting related stuff in the same box and labelling said box! WOO HOO! It was nice to have a day off. Lucas & I stayed home and played. He played on Russ' laptop for a couple of hours in the afternoon so I was able to get a head start on the dishes (which still aren't totally done...yikes!) and clean up a little. Did some laundry. Put up another bookshelf. Ya know.

I finished a crap load of art journal pages the other night. Totally wonderful. I just covered my dining room table with old TM paper bags, brought out all my Glimmer Mist and one of my found item bins and went to town. I took my lead from some of Dina Wakley's latest pages for her art journal class that she has been posting. Plus her old Hambly layouts, and everything else that woman does is pretty amazing...it's easy to be inspired by her. I took a couple of photos of everything while it was drying on my clothesline above the sink, but I had to rethink the pics because my kitchen mess would make some people dive for cover. It's a mess on top of a mess beside another mess. I will edit and post later today. I was going to get my magnetic chalkboard paint up on the wall, but I forgot to bring it so I could go back to Days and get it mixed again. So nix that plan.

Umm...what was the point I was trying to make...not sure where this post is going. Umm. Oh well. Let's move on then. Gather my thoughts. Make them a little more coherent and blog-post friendly...

Am helping Kara with Riff Raff brainstorming today. I do not envy her the task of creating new shapes for the rest of the year. But she has some good ideas, so good will prevail.

Have been trying to plan upcoming classes for TM. I have a bunch of ideas...but who knows if people will want to take them. It seems like the only people selling classes are the "famous" scrapbookers that are doing online fun classes. Mini albums, altered stuff, messy techniques...you know...the stuff I do! I have a couple of basic/beginners classes, getting started on your wedding album, altered canvas, getting messy with messy stuff.

Wow. I'm having a really hard time getting my thoughts out today. I mostly just sound like a crazy person who didn't pass english (I am crazy, but I passed English with flying colours!)

I'm just going to stop now. Yep. Nothing terribly exciting is happening anyway. Oh my. I'm off.

i know who i am

I have been playing around with my blog today. Nothing too serious...I added a background which I'm not too keen on cause you can't really see it. And I re-aligned and re-sized my left sidebar. Am still trying to figure out how it's going to work best. I only ever try it in Internet Explorer, and im not too worried about how it looks in other browsers, but if you use Safari or Firefox or whatever, and it looks odd, let me know eh!

made some projects for myself the other day. don't tell Russel, but I've been cleaning up at work. he might get jealous 'cause I sure don't do enough of it at home! it's scary how much paper we have at work that is pretty much useless now and is bound for the shredder. It is especially despressing to think that we are only one small office and yet we have used so much paper and produced so much waste. so i've been trying to recycle or reuse as much as I can. it's a daunting task, even for a person such as myself.

I have found some gems that will get passed on in the form of a fun mailout in the next month or so! WOOT! So if any of you get asked rather randomly for your mailing address, please supply it freely so you can get freebies!

oops! time to go...later skater alligator!
