anticipating: my exciting birthday weekend! Crop night tonight with my friends, High Level Streetcar tomorrow with my boys, and a movie on Sunday with BFF.
thinking: "We're so close to something better left unknown. I can feel it in my bones."
I have few precious hours this afternoon to finish a bunch of important things. Like "bake cookies." These guys are my new favourite...gluten-free and everything! I think I have made a batch (or two) every week since finding the recipe. So much for my former mantra: "I never bake". I'm going to do up a proper cookie post next week, with the recipe and some "finished product" photos so you can join me in the drool-fest.
I am meeting up with a bunch of my scrappy girlfriends tonight at TM for a little par-tay. I may or may not have made some "special" Jello for the occasion. Wink!
And now, I must get back to that to-do list. But first, some more kahlua iced coffee is in order!
