Cathedral Grove

We didn't spend much time wandering through Cathedral Grove when we were on the Island in the summer. It was kind of just a stop on the long drive out to Ucluelet. But it was so beautiful, I definitely appreciated the recommendations to stop and can now pass on those recommendations myself!

And Dude was just getting interested in taking photos on this trip, so he snapped the one of Russ & I. I love the angle....

For the scrapbookers: pattern paper is My Mind's Eye, Studio Calico & Basic Grey. Tiny sticker letters are Echo Park. That chevron stamp is one I made. Ink is Ranger Distress Ink, in some sort of purple (Chipped Sapphire?). I really like adding Instagrams to my layouts. Printing them out is super easy, and I love the square format. I was going to do up a post on this for the TM Inspiration Blog, but I got lazy life got in the way!

  1. Love this, I would be in heaven there. I have always wanted to go hug one of these beautiful trees. I might even cry.
Really loving all this family stuff you've been sharing.

Anniversary celebrations ate today- cory had to work until 9 at inventory. Lame. But a fun filled day planned today.

    1. I was feeling so road-trip-tired that day, that I just couldn't appreciate it fully. But I do remember the silence, and feeling enveloped by it. And so at peace.

I'm glad you are getting a special day with your family!
