On to other things. We're finally done with the TM Month Kit stuff! I kind of went overboard, as I tend to do with these things! But now we can move on! Can you believe it's already October!?!!?!?!
The layout I'm sharing with you today I completed way back in July before I left on holiday.
Layout Deets: Sassafass/blue star, strip of paper. Jenni Bowlin/butterfly stamp, butterfly, watering can. Hambly/green butterflies. Simple Stories/journaling tag. American Crafts/letters.
Technique Deets: I actually made this mask ages ago, using some old Jenni Bowlin chipboard shapes. I traced them on to a sheet of thin chipboard and cut them out. I've used them a bunch of times, both with spray ink and stamp ink (rubbed in). I really like the look either way, and it looks super cool with the butterfly stamp over top! The other "texture" on the background was made by rubbing distress ink over an onion mesh bag. It looks almost like snake skin. The red was an accident, a transfer from one of the other masks...but I like how it looks...a lot.
Hey Lisa! Thanks for popping by...it's exciting to meet another Edmonton blogger!! Do post photos of the alley when you go, it's pretty neat! <3
