the Mini-Fam and I will be generating about 3.5 tonnes of carbon when we fly to and from Dallas (that's with high-altitude carbon factored in, 1.7 when it's not). That's a lot of carbon.
And depending on which offset website I check out, the amount of moola and greenbacks it's going to cost me vary greatly! And some offset companies are "better" than others (more transparent business practices, more projects, more $ going to projects, etc.) There are comparison sites out there to help you decide. I think I picked my company, but I'm going to keep looking in case I find something better! One thing I have a problem with though, there don't seem to be any LOCAL projects happening...why can't I buy offsets that stay in the country instead of going to Brazil or India?
