I have found a super cool Scrapbooking/Photo Studio store in the Big Apple (aka NYC, aka New York City)
Portrait Bug is everything a cool scrapbooking store should be...not that we're not cool!! But they're pretty cool too! Plus they carry Riff Raff and Kristina Contes and Nathalie Kalbach are on their DT!
Plus their website has given me a tonne of ideas to try at TM...some of these ideas I have already thought of, but these guys reminded me how cool they are and showed me that they just might work!
P.S. my old school Scrap Girls...they have a photo studio right in the store...remind you of anything...perhaps a cool store idea we had not so long ago...
Also, I have been unable to find a local art retreat...so instead of complain I have decided to do something about it. More details to come...
Two weeks to go until we leave for Dallas. I really need to start planning my packing. And my shopping. I am so going to bring a list of all the stores and things I need to check out. For example, the Container Store, Target, Pottery Barn, Steve Madden and anywhere else that sells nice shoes are on the top of the list! OH MY GOD the Container Store sells bins made out of old newspapers!!! I guess I will have to bring that extra suitcase afterall...
Also, anyone know any good carbon-offsetting programs I can look into? Online Research here I come!
ok seriously I'm going to give you some money and you are going to buy me some Steve shoes! OH, and while there can you look out for Tofu Shiritaki noodles for me? I had the IT guy who went to San Fran a couple weeks ago look for them but he couldn't find any... OH, also HS website is having a SALE, like everything is $0.99. BUT they only ship to the States..bummer...Think you family would let me use their addy to ship stuff to them and you could bring it back? LOL
