Dorky Librarian Strikes Again

"When you have a baby, you grow eyes in the back of your head. That's what my grandma told me. Is that true?"
-Dude, just now

And to get your very own lady tie, please visit Flapper Girl! I got so many compliments on it at work, that I may have convinced a number of ladies there that lady ties are the way to go!

p.s. Dude was very disappointed when he learned that it wasn't true. The eyes in the back of your head thing...

  1. I love the colors you've got going on here! Very cute. I've been looking/dreaming about a romper sort of dress for awhile. In a perfect world I would try and sew one since I have the pattern...

PS. Trying not to sound weird about it but perhaps in the future you could try posting larger images? Maybe one full body shot the width of the page? I can't really see the details of your outfit and I want to see more! Haha, bossy? Yes. Yes I am.

    1. Hello! That "full body shot" is probably not going to happen any time soon; and not because I don't want it to, but because I am just one lowly lady with a variety of low surfaces on which to rest her camera and use her self-timer. No photographer to help me out means the pictures are NEVER very good, and never very close. But I sure can try!

    I want that cardigan!

Also, I have a lady tie, but I have never worn it. I just don't wear collared shirts very often, nor do I EVER button them up to the top. I guess I should work on this. Maybe I need to visit a thrift shop and buy a bunch of button ups to try with it.

Yours is cute. If you can do it, I should probably be able to at least try it. Right!?

    1. You should TOTALLY try it! I love my lady tie...it helps me fulfill my lifelong goal of being a complete and utter dork at all times.

  3. Ha! Loving this colour combo.. which is saying a lot, since purples/yellows are the outcasts of my usual colour preferences.. but lately - plum/dijons, I just can't get enough of! You know how to rock it mama.
