A couple of weeks back I became insanely jealous of Nadine's photos and stories about her family's day trip to Fort Edmonton Park. Well, maybe "insanely jealous" is a little much! I was inspired, and gave up painting boards in my Mom's garage to take the boys to the Fort.
I love Fort Edmonton Park. I have always been intrigued and inspired by our shared history, & the people (& things) of the past. This is the perfect place for me.
And there are always loads of neat photo opportunities, if you view the world from a different angle.
And then sometimes you ask your Dude to take a picture of you in front of a big awesome sign, and he freaks out and can't find the zoom, and you are shouting at him because you are now so far away from him because you are busy posing in front of this huge sign, and then your husband comes to help and you notice a really cool woodpecker off to the side and try to draw someone's attention to it cause you have relinquished your camera to get a picture in front of this cool sign.
