New Fave Fashion Un-Able

So, I am in love with this skirt. I want to wear it all the time!

Maybe I'll do up a series of posts with this skirt! A "one item, many looks" sort of post. We'll have to see about that one.

Outfit Deets: Skirt and shoes/thrifted. Tee and tank/Joe Fresh. Headband/Lime Door (see below for some news!)

I didn't realize how scraggly I looked that day! Ack! What is with my hair...I'm going to blame it on the angle of the photo! The red is mostly gone, but when I'm driving home and have the sunroof open I can see the remnant glowing in my rear view mirror!

I actually have a shop update to tell you about as well. I've been finding it difficult to put in the amount of work needed to keep Lime Door moving forward. There are just so many other things I want to do with my time, that Lime Door tends to fall to the bottom of the heap!

Also, I find I have way more fun making things for specific people, than just to "stock shelves". I have (sort of) come up with a happy middle ground!

I made this headband for myself the other day, because I wanted something to wear with the outfit above, and I had these cool new buttons to try out. And since I love it so much, I want to share it with all of you!

So say hello to the Lime Door "Bluebird" Shuttlecock Headband!

It is so named, thanks to my boss at my "real job" who told me it looked like a badminton birdie! But I think "shuttlecock" sounds fancy and silly at the same time (which is how I feel when I go to the symphony, by the way!)...I made some "Baby Birdie" ones for the little girls among us!
