in Progress...

I've been craving mini albums again lately! I think this happened to me last year around this time as well...a desire to complete something small, and fun and cute! So I've started one, and come hell or high water I want to have it finished by the end of next week! HA!

Title: 30 Some-Things. It's meant to be a play on words for "thirty something", as describing someone who is in their thirties, which is me. But it is also a book that will have 30 items in it: quotes, photos, tidbits, whatever.

Here are the first few pages. I have a long ways to go, but I am really enjoying the colours, and the freedom of being able to just create something that's fun and without purpose other than it makes me happy. I'm (sort of) caught up with TM classes right now, and really wanted to do something creative for myself before I jump in to all the other "professional" tasks on my to-do list right now.

K...I'll stop blathering on now, and let the album speak for itself.

Details:
I'm using mostly random bits from my stash, but the main players are papers and paper embellishments from the new Glitz Design lines. The colours are kind of muted-summery, and I am feeling very inspired by them lately. Lots of digi-vintage, and great collage elements. The photos are all mine, taken around the neighbourhood. There are also some Girls' Paperie stamps in there (bike), Kitschy Digitals elements (plastic flowers), new Pink Paislee/House of Three paper, and Sassafras stickers.

I'll post more pages once they're finished. I'm having a lot of fun with this, and hope to use the blog as a reminder to keep going with this little project!
