I printed a bunch of photos the other day, finishing some layouts I had on my desk. This first one I had already done a post about, but now you get to see the finished product!
Note: Please ignore what seem to be gauzy blue eyelashes sprouting from my glasses! I think the printer is running low on ink, but not low enough that I get blazing warning signals when I click 'Print'...oh my.
Supplies:
Pattern paper: Crate (upper butterfly), Teresa Collins (lower butterfly)
Ribbon: Stripe is My Mind's Eye. Green lace is Websters? Orange gauzy is leftover from my wedding! The other two I got from Urban and have no idea (but they are my faves!)
Transparency frame: Teresa Collins. I will pay "big money" to any of you that still have any of these!
Butterfly punch is Martha.
Alpha stickers: American Crafts
Buttons: Orange is Jenni Bowling and the black one is Bazzill.
Techniques: I painted the circle in the background using watercolour pencils. It was super easy, but it really warped my paper and started eating it up because I added too much water and was playing with it too much!

And this next one is a newbie for me. Pictures are still in a terrible state, but how do you like the digi-collage I've got going on? Ack! The brick background is actually a photo I took (it's Lucas' school), that I altered. I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of having fun with this!
This layout proves: you can put pink and flowers on a layout about boys! And not put any gears on a layout about gears.
Supplies:
Pattern paper: Kaiser Craft (floral below the rulers). I used some ledger paper from My Girl's Paperie (I think). *new Jenni Bowlin. I cut the two gentlemen from a whole sheet of Mr. Darcy's! *new Basic Grey from the Life is a Party line, the ruler and woodgrains (there are three different colours used here...can you spot them all?
Ribbon: Gold is 7Gypsies, blue velvet is My Mind's Eye (from the same package as the stripe in the layout above). I also made a flower out of Studio Calico Fabrips (at the top there).
Alpha stickers: Large are American Crafts. Small guys are a combo of *new Basic Grey, Jenni Bowlin and My Little Shoebox (my go-to letters)
Brads: We Are Memory Keepers (sparkly) and My Mind's Eye (large robot)
Little Bits: the floral paper things are *new from Cosmo Cricket, and possibly my favourite embellishment this week! I should have bought more...to share! Wax seal is from TM, something Darryl brought in. Chipboard stars are from ages ago. The yellow woodgrain circles are not new Basic Grey paper, but they are punched out of the packaging from a Studio Calico product!
Techniques: I covered the chipboard stars in *new Tim Holtz Distress Stains, then sprayed them with his yellow Perfect Pearls Mist once they had dried. Love his new stuff! The mist makes things so shimmery and the colours are so vibrant!
I love your colours in the first, and the round circle/orb/sun?
