Miss You!

This is not the post where I am announcing the giveaway winner! But you should still read it! Check back tonight (after Zumba) for the name(s)
*****
this is the layout I completed for Anam's little going-away book that the girls at TM organized. 12x12 is hard for me, but this one is a favourite...I would say it's a keeper, but it's going to be flying overseas one of these days...
later skater alligator

Techniques:
- Lots of die-cut-paper-as-a-mask happening on this layout. I used an old circle pattern from KI Memories, and the new butterfly pattern from American Crafts.
- The photo is distressed with Comet, rubbing alcohol, water, sandpaper, and whatever other chemicals I could find in the TM bathroom! There are some wonky colours and textures happening there!

Supplies:
- Patterned paper is Studio Calico (chairs), Crate Paper (punched butterflies), My Mind's Eye (woodgrain)
- Butterfly stamp is new Jenni Bowlin
- Sticker letters are Jenni Bowlin (circles) and My Little Shoebox (rectangles)
- Ribbon is American Crafts (cream lace with green accents), unknown blue stuff (from Urban Scrapbook), and Value Village stuff
- Inks...Wild Honey and Broken China (Ranger/Tim Holtz), black
- Glitter is ?? Maybe Martha?
- Sprays are from Ranger (Denim Colour Wash) and Tattered Angels (Bubbles, and others??)
- I sprinkled some alcohol ink across the page, but can't remember the colour. At least I think I used alcohol ink!

  1. What a fantastic layout! I love all the techniques and materials you incorporated into the design. Love the stitched textiles, the stamping and the misting. Perfection!
