Twisted Sketches DT

Merry Christmas...and a Layout!
The Sketch went live today, and I noticed it, so I can post my layout early...well...early for me!

Twist this week is "Celebrate"...how fitting!
Supplies List
Pattern paper is Studio Calico (woodgrain), Cosmo Cricket (polaroid and caption), Hambly (hearts, text and cupcakes), Sassafraslass (border). I also used a Hambly transparency (the cutlery)
Brads are We Are Memory Keepers (sparkle!), old Stampin Up, and I think that's it!?
Letters are Jenni Bowlin (little) and Studio Calico (wooden)
The star sticker is Jenni Bowlin
Special Techniques
Not much to say here...I did stitch the larger piece of pattern paper to the layout. That's something. I also stitched along the paper strips at the bottom using a zig zag stitch. It's hard to see in the photos because of the thread colour, but it's there!

And the icing on the cake this week (HA!)...I did a second page! GASP!
I used the same sketch, and the same twist, and the photos are from the same event. I never do double page layouts, but I wanted to show off all these great photos, and Anam's sketch really inspired me this week!
Supplies List
Pattern paper is old old old: KI Memories (stripe), Chatterbox (plaid), Basic Grey (blue) and My Mind's Eye (maybe...orange with brown polka dots). I also used another Polaroid and caption from Cosmo Cricket.
Cutlery rub ons are from Hambly.
Stickers are Jenni Bowlin (star), October Afternoon (circle label), 7Gypsies (little labels).
Little numbers and letters are Jenni Bowlin, and the wooden letters are Studio Calico ("RK" are my husband's initials)
Brads are My Mind's Eye (large lion), We R Memory Keepers (small sparkle)
Ribbon is...I'm not sure...I buy a lot of ribbon!
Special Techniques
I stitched all over the place again, outlining the entire page and the photos with the same colour thread as on the first layout.
I used the little sticker letters and labels for my title, but I also used them to camouflage a distracting part of the photo. That wall in my house is busy-busy with things, and it was impossible to crop out without losing the cake. So I strategically placed my photos on the layout so I could cover that corner with my title! Easy-peasy!

thanks for stopping by...don't forget to go say HI to the other ladies on this most-fabulous of Design Teams!
And check the Twisted Sketches site for the original sketch...Anam never fails to disappoint!!
