This is a pic of Lucas with his new favourite toy...a stuffed cat! It's name is "Kitty" and Lucas loves her/him very much. He makes this funny high-pitched "meow" sound and talks really funny to her. And now he sleeps with her and likes to have her around when he's feeling cranky. It's funny and adorable!
Heidi and Rhonna's latest awesome-ness. Stupid awesome really! They are selling Rhonna's blog backgrounds (which are amazing and gorgeous and I can't decide!), digital kits, hybrid kits and most importantly, HOME DECOR. They have some vinyl wall decals that are to die for...all fancy and decked out in bling! I'm still deciding if I want to go the wall-vinyl route in my house, but if I do I am for sure going to check these ones out! Here's the link: http://www.houseof3.com/ And they have a fab blinkie for your blog (see Talia's).
Also, for those of you who enjoyed my first Eco-Monday, you'l need to go to my other blog to follow it...I'm supposed to be keeping this one for art/scrapbooking only. Besides, my other blog doesn't get enough attention, so I need to spice things up a bit!
I'm also going to post some new fave recipes, and food stuff there. I made some yummy granola yesterday...yummier than store-bought! And my soup is looking super good with some new additions. So check it out here.
I have already started planning my birthday party for September! Things will probably change lots in the coming months, but I wanted to start writing down all the brilliant ideas I've been having! I'm only turning 29, but I never have a big birthday bash, and I don't want to wait till next year when I have a big number to celebrate (or mourn!).
Here are the two projects I finished on Saturday...I'm posting them here because some people don't actually READ my blog, they just skim for pics! I'm not naming any names (coughchantelcough), but I know they miss this stuff if they're not looking for it!
I am SO HAPPY with how they turned out! And I hope all the positive response I got on Saturday bodes well for the class I am planning at the end of the month! We shall see!
Thanks to Nadia's blog for today's little quote pick-me-up!
"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. ask yourself what makes you come alive, and then go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." - Harold Thurman Whitman

ReplyDeleteI used to have a kitty like little L but it wasn't a kitty. It was a rabbit I called "Rabby". I'm inventive I know. Okay, I'll try to remember to post everything in on BIG long comment next time. But isn't it fun when you see "3 new comments"? :D I really should get back to work...work shmurk. I'm crazy. Time to calm down. I didn't even have any sugar...
ReplyDeleteHave a gooder!
