So I have a tendency to hit the nail on the head, before there is even a nail. I went into work yesterday to teach my class and all the new Making Memories had just arrived! It is just as cute as the pictures on my blog suggest!
In terms of what I've been up to creatively lately...
Am still working on my Scrapjacked entry. (still only 2 pages down 4 to go...but Russ bought me some ink for my printer the other day, so I'm going to work some more on that today)
Finished a really cool collage/mixed media layout for a "secret project" the other day. BUT I forgot to scan it before i handed it over. I'm going to have to sneak it back and at least take a photo for all to see. We are thinking of running a very low key, non-structured collage/mixed media class at the store next month. Just kind of giving some space and inspiration and permission to get messy and letting you go to town! It's the most fun! I'm doing a fun altered calendar right now. I'll post pics when I'm finished!
That's kind of it for right now. Sorry i have been so boring lately. I've entered my "sleepy week" as far as I can tell, so I might have low productivity for the next little bit. I'm still plugging away at my felties (there are skulls with crowns and new regular skulls at the store as of yesterday), trying to keep up with the demand for rad skulls! I did some research on what it takes $$ wise to start an Etsy shop, and it's not too bad so I might go for it. Unfortunately, that site has become swamped with not-so-creative scrapbooking items, so i might be hard for my product to get noticed. We shall see. (Example of a stupid thing for sale on Etsy, a site for handmade items: the new Maya Road plastic journaling notes...that is so not handmade!!)
So I went to TM yesterday, had the kids with me. They are totally into scrapbooking right now so I told them they could each pick one thing - what does my son choose - rad feltie skull! That was the only thing he wanted! What good taste he has!
