A different kind of Sketch

I follow a very wonderful scrapper in Florida, that has been making her mark on some fantastic design teams as of late! It's exciting to see someone "move up", or at least around, in the online scrapping world!

At the beginning of the month, a DT she's on introduced a new Sketch Challenge...and I am accepting that challenge this month.

Check out the original sketch at the Blue Moon Scrapbooking blog, and Melissa's layout. And check out my version of it below!
I am really loving this colour combo - deep blue and lime green. And I have fallen in love with my Ranger Colour Wash again...am excited to see the new colours and the mini bottles!

I love how it looks when you spritz water on top of colour wash...dreamy!

If you get your act together, and do up a layout of your own, you can submit it and enter to win a $40 GC from Blue Moon! The contest runs until the 31st and it's open to internationals, like myself, so that's extra nice!

It's funny...their online store reminds me a lot of TM for some reason...hmmm.

p.s. Melissa is also on the Elle's Studio DT...a store that has also come a long way since I first found her many years ago! CHANTEL IF YOU ARE READING THIS, Elle Studio takes wholesale orders!! I'm just saying...here's the link...if you're interested...or whatever...I'm placing an order for myself next month so if anybody wants in let me know and we can save on shipping. I love her date tags...love love love.

Supplies: pattern paper is KI Memories, Basic Grey, Pink Paislee(?), old CI and ??. Stamps are 7gypsies and Stampin' Up. Sticker letters are Basic Grey (small) and October Afternoon (K). Pen is Sakura glaze in opaque white. Colour wash is Ranger in Denim.
