I originally tacked all of this on to the end of the previous post. And then I realized how long that would make things. Too long, really. So this gets it's own post!
today I am busy finishing and delivering some homemade presents. Scarlett's made it to the store, as did KC's special order...talk about leaving things to the last minute! I still have more to finish today and tonight, and I have a feeling I will be busy with them all day tomorrow as well.

And I have been getting into the wrapping spirit, and making a concerted effort to make the presents as beautiful on the outside as they are inside!
I added this tag to Martine's gift, which will be flying to Saanich next week (oops!).
And I took Hambly's advice and made this great bow to adorn Scarlett's surprise. K, I didn't really follow their directions (which you can find here), but you get the picture.
Re: this home-made present: when a crazy idea of mine actually works I get really excited and go overboard. Her present started out as a gift idea for Jacob, and now I'm going to be making them for all the babies on my list! Just not in the next two days! Got any guesses?? (Chantel just called and thanked me! No spoilers here girlie!). I forgot to take photos of hers, but I'll make sure to snap some of Jacob's and do a fun reveal next week.
The box is from work (I rescue shipping boxes from the recycle all the time). I used some ledger paper in Christmas-green, sprayed with Glimmer Mist (in Starfish or Starburst or whatever) over a die cut American Crafts paper. The tag is made out of repurposed stuff that had been taking up space on my craft table! A playing card, some mist, letters, and fabric and ribbon scraps.
It was quite the sight to see! And it didn't cost me a penny!
Now, I've got to really get back to "work"...

p.s. I wrote this yesterday, but I'm pretty sure I'll be wrapping into the wee hours tonight as well, at least until Santa shows up! We are at the in-laws tonight for dinner and gifts, then my families' tomorrow for more of the same. But I can't stay away from you for too long, even though I know you'll be staying away from me...so expect some more holiday posts in the next couple of days. I'm at TM on Boxing Day, so come by and say hi and bring me a coffee if you don't mind!
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night...and a safe one as well.
