Everything IS bigger in Texas

So here I am...safe and sound. I got to wear flip flops and capris today to SIX FLAGS!! It was a long day, but fun.

I've already been to the mall and spent lots of money...bought a pair of shoes at Steve Madden, and some shirts. It is so warm here. It's getting up to 80 this week, which I am told is like our warm days in the summer.

Anyway, I just logged on to give a mini update. My camera batteries died today so I don't have any pictures right now, but I'll come back later and get some to y'all.

Two days people...two days before lift off. I went and spent a bunch of money this week on new clothes and underwear to take along, but I am packing very light...to make room for all the stuff I'm bringinb back! Heath was down there a couple of weeks ago and says everything is on sale, big time!

I took a bunch of rad self-portraits again just now. The light is right, my hair is looking fine...

I still have to finish prepping my travel journal for my trip. Bought some cool little letter stickers today that will go just fine, plus I need stamps and ink and adhesive and pens and stuff and stuff and stuff...sweetness!

and check out the Riff Raff blog later for my layouts for the March shapes. Here's a little taste for you...I ultimately ended up completing 7 layouts! SEVEN! What was I thinking!?!?! Poor Ben...I think I sent him 4 emails today! All of the layouts I;ve seen from the girls are awesome!! Also, am still in love with the new embossing powder we got in...check out the sparkly blue stuff on the S! Tasty!

Probably not, but it just might be! I have been slacking as of late, and my giant to-do list is as giant as ever! But here is a cute layout I finished at the store the other day. You might notice the new American Crafts Thicker at the top...well I only bought 3 new fonts (I think...!!!) This was Lucas' first time ever on skates. He did so well! Hopefully there is still enough ice on the outdoor rinks to do some more when we get back!

I both love and hate the time before vacation. I love to look forward to the trip and plan excursions and what not...but I hate how busy I need to be to get all the stuff done I need to get done before I go! I have Riff Raff DT stuff (working on my 6th layout!), classes and Techneeks and Projects to do for TM, plus blog posts to schedule for all of those things! I'm a busy beaver. Plus Jill has entrusted me with her iPod to load it up before she leaves (that's on today's to-do list!)

So I better get to it...it's an "at home" day for us here. Lucas is busy playing with his Cars toys (the last I heard they were going to a race in California!) and I'm sitting here on Russ' laptop (hi hun I love you!) in my pajamas trying to get some work done.

to give me some Heidi Swapp packaging!!

I'm specifically looking for the 12x12 hanging bags...her clock faces and any of the larger transparencies came in them (brown butterfly, pink chandelier, white dots, etc.). I'm doing a project for the blog and I need a couple more! I don't need the actual supplies inside the bags...just the bags! I'm a crazy bag lady!

I'll even reimburse you with some scrapbooking-related things! Nothing old and grungy I promise!

I know I have some readers that are passionate about Heidi and would surely have some of her supplies that haven't been opened yet.

I'll even come pick them up from your house.
