I've plateaued

Is that even a word? Oh well. Today in this blog entry it is. I've plateaued. I can't seem to get past 191 pounds. I go up to 193 if I haven't been a good girl. And then I go back down to 191 when I'm watching what I eat and working out. It's frustrating. I don't think I'm at my "ideal weight" but how do I get there? I can't start starving myself. I can't work out 3 times a day. This is annoying. On the news today there was a story about a little boy who can't gain weight. He eats up to 2000+ categories a day, but he still can't gain weight and keep it on. This preceded a story about a bunch of scientists who looked into a bunch of different diets and proclaimed that the Atkins diet is the best for overweight women to lost weight (average lost 10 pounds), and they didn't show any negative side effects like increased blood pressure. I'd have to be pretty desperate to go on the Atkins diet! I'm just not there yet, and I hope I never will be! Any tips? Anybody? Or am I getting more "I know what you mean" than "I have a solution"?

  1. You could always try the ice and celery diet. HA HA HA. I don't know dear. Have you been to your doctor? He/she might have some ideas for you. Don't get discouraged, your doing awesome by eating right and working out with Kathy. I wish I could stick to things for long periods of time but I seem to fall off the band wagon FAST.
