Goodie Box challenge ends on the 25th. So many possibilities and I haven't got anything together! Yay me.
Speaking of challenges, I so have not been "haunting" those sites like I usually do. I guess I'm just experimenting with my style and my tastes enough right now that I don't have time for them! Gasp! I can't believe I just typed that! There's always time for a good challenge. Maybe I'll go check some of them out tonight and do up a fun page or two!
Speaking of style, I am having so much fun right now playing with paint and collage. I'm still trying to figure out the new "rules" to mixed-media art, but I like all of the stuff I've done so far, so I'm not too worried! Anam's Cloth Paper Scissors magazines are sure "fueling the fire" and I am getting so many ideas. Last night before bed I just sat on the couch with my big "art journal" (HA!!) and brainstormed ideas for projects or canvases or paint combos...anything that came to mind went down on paper. I was being very productive! In my own goofy way!
I'll have to take a pic of the doodles I did for Lucas the other day. He noticed I was sketching in my big book (which has cars and trucks on the front, so he automatically loves it!) and asked me to draw Mater. And then Mack. And then McQueen. And then Dinoco Blue McQueen. So I have a whole page of Cars cars and trucks. He loves to go back and look at them and name them all over and over again! And Russ even commented on how good they are!! Yay!!!
I'm trying to upload some photos again, so we'll see if I have any luck...SUCCESS!!
