Because if she was a man she would be "da man." She came up with this rad technique (which Lindsay and I went so crazy for on Sat) and I have been dying to try it for real at home. So I was going to do it up on some Heidi Swapp clear flowers, but got to the perfect pearls part, let it dry and then decided I liked it the way it looked, so I didn't add the glossy accents.
Then I tried parts one and two on a metal Making Memories flower grommet that I got for free in my CHA-Chantel
insert weird thing here: the theme music for my boyfriend George's show is playing on Sonic right now...about the same time as it would be playing on tv! crazy awesome!
grab bag. so I put down some Stream alcohol ink, then my green perfect pearls. Then I added a couple drops of Lettuce alcohol ink and let 'er rip! The effect is so beyond rad! It looks all old and metallic and black and awesome...but it isn't dry yet. When it dries it looks less rad then at first (the perfect pearls have smuched up in different places and the effect is tres weird and not in a rad way.) I'm going to try adding some glossy accents and I'll let you know what happens!
Messing around at the crop on Sat, Anam did some cool stuff with alcohol inks and metal. I'm going to try and incorporate it into my Ranger class at TM. should be good for a laugh!
and I'll try to take pics of my finished products with some step by step once I've figured everything out. am working on Scrapjacked/Mojo challenges right now...love to get back to being messy and random!
I love you too!
